Reviews
Really enjoyed dinner at this Israeli hotspot in a chic Williamsburg hotel. Food quality was superb - had the Tunisian Tuna Crudo and the Arabic Salad for starters. The tuna was good for 2 and salad was fresh. Entrees had similar middle eastern spices. The Persian Margarita was tasty! Service was friendly and prompt.
Great food and fun atmosphere. Do order their mushroom hummus, we really liked the summer squash as well. Brick chicken was delicious and can easily be shared between two people
If you’re looking for remarkable Israeli/ Mediterranean style food then K’Far is the perfect spot!
I highly recommend the Baklava or the asparagus for starters! For the main course, the Bone In short rib was our favorite along with the Persian Lamb Shank. The food is big portion so it’s perfect for sharing.
The restaurant is upscale, unique, and contemporary. The service was truly one of the best. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and made sure we had an enjoyable experience and kept our table very clean! The atmosphere is also so vibrant and welcoming.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience coming here with my family and I can see myself visiting again!
I have no idea why this place doesn’t have higher reviews, but man one of the most awesome restaurants in the city! We tried a bunch of things and everything was amazing! In addition to the delicious food, even the ambience and service were 5+. Definite recommend!
The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, offering a satisfying culinary experience. However, the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which dampened the overall atmosphere. That being said, drinks and food was delicious so if service gets better this restaurant has a lot of potential.
Went for brunch and had a nice time. The decor is so beautiful, it's a lovely space. The food was pretty good, although I wasn't blown away, maybe dinner is better. I had the shakshuka. Eggs were perfectly cooked and I loved the crispy shallots on top.
This place is worth the hype! You can see they've put a lot of thoughts into place making at the sight of entry. We were sat at the sunroom that's semi-enclosed, giving a cool yet sunny vibe.
The food is the best Mediterranean I've had! Get the hummus y'all! We had beef hummus, and now I can't forget about it. Pita pockets are soft and warm. K'Far's hummus and pitta have officially topped Nerai for me. And better yet, everything we ordered from the menu didn't miss!
I ordered Eggs & Merguez (aka breakfast plate) with eggs, toast, avocado, and lamb sausage. I split a pita pocket that came with hummus and stuffed a little of everything in. Oh boy, isn't it the most delicious bite I've had!
Other items we got on the table include smoked salmon bagel, Shakshukas (lots of Shakshukas), and Arayes. Portions are bigger than what pictures on Yelp may make you think. Everyone was so full and satisfied at the end of the meal.
The only items I don't recommend here are the drinks. We ordered a few and I don't think anything were that special compared to the food here.
Our server was very friendly and lively. Knowledgable about the menu as well! Bill came out to be $45/person including tax & tips (we had a group of 7), which is surprisingly affordable. We will be back!
*Pistachio Sticky Bun, Almond Challah Danish, Scallion Feta Borekas
Pistachio Sticky Bun was easily my fav item among all. The bun was coated with a thin glaze but not too sweet. Bouncy and soft bread texture with perfect swirls. Topped with crushed pistachio nuts. A comforting bake that pistachio lovers have only ever dreamt of.
*Masabacha Hummus, Crispy Mushroom Hummus
Each hummus came with two warm and fluffy pita bread. Many people compared their hummus to Laser Wolf's, a hit Israeli restaurant which is just located upstairs from K'Far. The Masabacha contained a pile of whole chickpeas in the hole of the creamy tahini sauce, sprinkled with parsley. The Crispy Mushroom was a huge surprise as the mushrooms were very well seasoned. Every scoop was filled with nuttiness.
*Egg & Cheese Jerusalem Bagel
I am a sucker for Jerusalem bagels but unfortunately this one was a total failure. The bagel was flattened, stale and looked burnt, while the square egg wasn't fluffy and tasted bland. I expected more za'atar spice but there wasn't a lot. I should go back to Librae to remind myself how delicious a Jerusalem bagel could be.
My Recommendation:
Pistachio Sticky Bun, Crispy Mushroom Hummus
Worth Returning ? Yes!
Friendly service, cozy ambiance and aesthetic food presentation!
